My Review

Remy LaDue and Mitchell Sanders made a mistake and sleep with each other after his best friend’s and her boyfriend’s funeral. After that, they keep in touch as they both grieve and go on with their jobs(Remy is a SEAL and Mitchell is an NCIS Agent). They make a date for Valentine’s day if they are both stateside but when Remy gets back he finds Mitchell deep undercover and in need of help. Good thing she has backup in Remy and his SEAL Team.

I loved the characters in this book. Remy is so sweet and sexy one of my combos in a hero and he is head over heels in love with Mitchell. Mitchell is independent¬†strong and can take care of herself in a fight, but she has such a caring side. Remy and Mitchell are both very devoted to their jobs(Remy is a SEAL and Mitchell in an NCIS Agent). I love a heroine who loves her job and her boyfriend understands and respects that. I hate it when the hero doesn’t respect that the heroine has an important job that she loves or Vise Versa. Remy and Mitchell both had to deal with the guilt they felt about sleeping together after the funeral and thought the author wrote that very well. Remy and Mitchell have great chemistry and you can tell how much they respect and love each other. This book is very exciting and I read it in one sitting. My only complaint is I wish this book had been longer because I loved the characters and story so much. If you love action, romance, and suspense I highly recommend this book and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
