She got out of a terrible relationship. And now an injury is threatening to end her dance career for good. It’s time for Plan B – college. And maybe a chance to convince Jase that what they have together is real.
Jase Winstead has a huge secret that he’s not telling anyone. Especially not his best friend’s incredibly beautiful sister. Even though he and Teresa shared the hottest kiss of his life, he knows that his responsibilities must take priority. He certainly doesn’t have time for a relationship. But it doesn’t help that all he can think about kissing the one girl who could ruin everything for him.
As they’re thrown together more and more, Jase and Tess can’t keep denying their feelings for each other. But a familiar danger looms and tragedy strikes. As the campus recovers, the star-crossed couple must decide what they’re willing to risk to be together, and what they’re willing to lose if they’re not…
Teresa Hamilton has been down on her luck lately. She’s in love with her brother’s best friend Jase who has been ignoring her after they shared one heck of kiss and her leg is injured which may mean her dance career might be over before it started. Teresa decides to go to collage while she prays for her injury to heal. She ends up going to the same college as her brother and Jase. As Jase and Teresa are drawn more and more to each other they can’t keep denying their attraction to each other. But will Jase’s past,Teresa’s dance career, and Teresa’s need to help someone get in the way of them being together.
I just clicked with Teresa’s character and loved her from page 1. Watching Teresa struggle with maybe not being able to dance again and her whole life changing so quickly is something I can relate to. I know what it is like to watch your dreams shatter into a million pieces. Teresa’s character is much more open then Avery. I think it has a lot to do with Teresa’s parents being caring, understanding, and supportive where Avery’s weren’t. I just loved Teresa’s spark and personality.Teresa like Avery had her own issues to work throw and I always love how JLA doesn’t just give the hero or heroine a past that is dark but both characters.
Jase is secretly sensitive, charming, hot as hell, and so sweet. OMG the dirty talk that is Jase. I needed one of those mini portable fans while reading this book. It was Hotness to the power of 10. I didn’t see Jase’s secret coming at all and was shocked. JLA is always great at dropping bombshells aka OMG moments. Jase wanting to wait to have sex with Teresa after they have been together for a while was so sweet. He wants to prove to her she isn’t like the other girls he has been with. I very much understand why Jase would fight his feelings for Teresa. Other then his past she is his best friend’s sister. Where Cam has cookies Jase has cupcakes. Will I ever be able to eat a cupcake again without blushing? Probably not. I have to say that the sex in this book was even hotter then in book 1.
I loved seeing all the Cam and Avery cuteness. Also seeing how Avery and Teresa got along was great. This is my favorite book in the series so far. Other then just loving these characters it has one of my favorite romance book themes. Sister in love with her brother’s best friend. Writing was incredible as always. I couldn’t put this book down and finally at 2am I had to sleep. JLA’s writing is so additive. You read one of her books and you will not be able to stop. I am flying throw her books like there is no tomorrow. What Jase says to Teresa at the end made me swoon and melt at the same time. When you read it you will know what line I am talking about. Overall another winner by JLA. I highly recommend this to all who love an amazing romance.
