He’ll own her from the very first touch.
Julie Piper and Reed Lawson have nothing in common. She’s a people-pleasing sorority girl hiding behind her perfect mask. He’s a take-no-prisoners SWAT commander who isolates himself from the world. But when they’re forced together at their friends’ posh destination wedding, one thing is clear—Reed wants Julie more than he wants his next breath. Which is why he’s not about to stand by when she’s dared to seduce another man.
Julie wants neat, tidy sex, so she could get back to what she does best—making everybody else happy. She never expected to slip into a dark bedroom and have her mind blown by rough, demanding hands, and a sinfully filthy mouth—neither of which belong to the best man.
One night should have been all Reed needed to get the blond temptress out of his system, but when one taste is nowhere near enough, he’ll be forced confront the effects of his hellish past. One that may push Julie away forever… just when he realizes he can’t live without her.
Julie is a Southern belle who is always trying to be perfect. She comes from old money and helps run her family’s Whiskey business. Reed is a SWAT team leader tattooed bad boy with a dark past. They both meet at a friends wedding and there is electricity.
Julie is a great heroine and I really connected with her worrying about being perfect and doing something wrong. I loved how Julie let herself be wild and let herself go with Reed. Not letting her fear of being perfect get in the way. Reed was amazing. He may have trouble expressing himself in words but every gesture says it all. I can understand why Reed has trust issues and commitment issues after his past. Reed wanting to get close to Julie but not really have the confidence to do it was very well written. Both these two have a lot of pain in their pasts. Reed more then Julie. His past just makes you want to scream and be angry on his behalf.
The Hot Springs Scene=Holy Hotness. One of my favorite scenes was when Reed was thinking of her and taking care of her after this party. It was so sweet. Their relationship was so hot I was worried my kindle was going to go up in flames. I found it wonderful and it really showed the talent of these authors keeping these books flowing so well together. I loved that epilogue. Is every epilogue in this series going to be swoon worthy perfection. I highly recommend this series to anyone looking for a fun sexy read. Can’t wait to get on to the next book in the series.
